atmosfair Climate & Sustainability Limited (ACSL), the Nigerian subsidiary of atmosfair gGmbH, is driving large-scale climate action and clean energy access in Nigeria. From a modest annual production of 10,000 stoves, ACSL has now built the capacity to produce over 1 million stoves annually. With a central production plant in Kano and five assembly stations in Ibadan, Asaba, Keffi, Gombe, and Kebbi, ACSL can now serve the entire country, with additional facilities planned before the end of 2025.
ACSL is committed not only to providing clean cookstoves but also to advancing renewable energy, decarbonization, and rural livelihoods. To date, more than 100,000 Save80 stove units have been sold, and the company is working toward an ambitious goal of 40 million units by 2030. Each milestone contributes to reduced deforestation, improved health, and new economic opportunities across Nigeria.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Call Center Agent to support customer engagement and accelerate the adoption of our Save80 Clean Cookstove across Nigeria. In this role, you will handle outbound and follow-up calls that support stove sales, customer onboarding, and installment plan understanding, while ensuring timely post-sale verification and accurate record keeping. The position is critical to maintaining high-quality customer relationships and capturing complete, consistent, and audit-ready data required for MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification). Your work will directly strengthen conversion rates, reduce customer drop-off, and improve the quality of field-to-office reporting.

Role Summary
The Call Center Agent is responsible for structured customer engagement, frontline sales support, and post-sale verification for atmosfair’s Save80 clean cookstove program The role is central to maintaining service quality and customer retention while ensuring accurate, complete, and audit-ready data capture for the MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification).
Key Responsibilities
- Customer engagement and sales support
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers.
- Educate customers on Save80 cookstove benefits, including cost savings, health outcomes, and environmental impact.
- Follow up on leads generated by field sales agents to improve conversion.
- Support customer onboarding, including clear explanation of payment plans and next steps.
Key Performance Indicators
- Number of calls completed per day
- Verification completion rate (%)
- Data accuracy and completeness score
- Customer satisfaction rating (CSAT)
- Payment follow-up success rate
- Conversion rate for sales-support calls
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of OND, NCE, or BSc
- Experience in call center operations, sales, or customer service is an advantage.
- Experience in NGOs, clean energy, or climate programs is an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills (English required; Hausa/Yoruba/Igbo or relevant local languages preferred)
- Professional phone etiquette and persuasive communication skills
- Basic computer literacy (Excel and CRM tools)
- Strong attention to detail (critical for MRV and audit readiness)
- Ability to work to targets and deadlines.

Reporting Structure
You will report directly to the Call Center Lead, Head of Monitoring and the management team.
Working Days and Hours
Hybrid work may be required. Standard full-time work hours are 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Additional hours may be required to meet sales targets and could involve some weekend work. All extra hours will be appropriately compensated.
